Morgan Neville is an American filmmaker born on October 10, 1967. He has directed a variety of acclaimed documentaries and television series. His 2014 film 20 Feet from Stardom received widespread recognition by winning the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature and a Grammy Award for Best Music Film. Neville's documentary Best of Enemies, released in 2015, explored the debates between Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley; it was shortlisted for the 2016 Academy Award and won an Emmy Award. His 2018 film Won't You Be My Neighbor? is a documentary about Fred Rogers, which garnered critical praise and became the highest-grossing biographical documentary of all time.
