Ming-Na Wen is an American actress and model born on November 20, 1963. She has received multiple awards throughout her career, including an Annie Award and a Saturn Award, and was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award. In 2019, she was honored as a Disney Legend, and in 2023 she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Wen's early career included playing Lien Hughes on the daytime soap As the World Turns from 1988 to 1991. Her breakthrough role was as June Woo in the film The Joy Luck Club in 1993. She also portrayed Dr. Jing-Mei Deb Chen on the medical drama series ER from 1995 to 2004. Wen is perhaps best known for voicing Mulan in the Walt Disney animated film Mulan, its sequel Mulan II, other video games, and guest appearances on television series such as Sofia the First. She also made a cameo in the live-action remake of Mulan in 2020. Beyond animation, Wen has played significant roles on television, including agent Melinda May in the Marvel series Agents of S. H. I. E. L. D. from 2013 to 2020 and as the bounty hunter Fennec Shand in Star Wars franchises such as The Mandalorian, Star Wars The Bad Batch, and The Book of Boba Fett. Her career also includes roles as Chun-Li in Street Fighter, Detective Ellen Yin in The Batman, Judge Linda Harris in Two and a Half Men, and Camile Wray in Stargate Universe.
