Mike Ware: podcast appearances and interviews

Michael J. Ware, born in 1939 in Bromley, is a chemist and photographer recognized for his work in alternative photographic processes. He specializes in earlier methods of printing photographic images that were largely replaced by modern silver-gelatin techniques. Ware has contributed to the understanding of photographic history through his expertise in processes such as the platinotype and palladium methods, serving as a consultant on their development and historical significance. In addition to his photographic pursuits, Ware has written about the influence of chemistry on the history of photography. Outside of his photographic work, Ware has held roles in government organizations, including serving as the Inspector General of the Small Business Administration and the Social Security Administration. Currently, he is affiliated with the Innocence Project of Texas, where he is involved in advocacy related to justice and legal issues.
