Mike Wallace: podcast appearances and interviews

Myron Leon Wallace, born on May 9, 1918, was an American broadcast journalist and television personality with a career spanning over seven decades. He was known for his investigative journalism and conducted interviews with a wide array of prominent newsmakers, including politicians, celebrities, and academics. Wallace was one of the original correspondents on CBS News's 60 Minutes, a program that debuted in 1968. He retired as a full-time correspondent in 2006 but continued to make occasional appearances on the series until 2008. In addition to his contributions to journalism, Wallace is recognized within the St. Louis Dirt Track Hall of Fame. He passed away on April 7, 2012. Wallace was also the father of Chris Wallace, continuing his legacy in the field of journalism.
