Mike Shinoda: podcast appearances and interviews

Michael Kenji Shinoda is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and graphic designer born on February 11, 1977. He is a co-founder of the rock band Linkin Park, which he established in 1996. Shinoda serves as the band's co-lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, and primary songwriter and producer. In 2004, he created the hip-hop-driven side project Fort Minor. Beyond his work with Linkin Park, Shinoda has produced tracks and albums for artists including Lupe Fiasco, Styles of Beyond, and the X-Ecutioners. He is also a co-founder of Machine Shop Records, a record label based in California. In addition to his musical career, Shinoda is an artist and graphic designer; his artwork has been exhibited in venues such as the Japanese American National Museum. In 2018, he released his debut solo album, Post Traumatic, which features 18 songs inspired by his emotions following the death of Linkin Park bandmate Chester Bennington.
