Michael Wood: podcast appearances and interviews

Michael David Wood, born on 23 July 1948, is an English historian and broadcaster known for his extensive work in television and writing. He has presented numerous documentary series since the late 1970s, covering various topics in history and civilization. His books include In Search of the Dark Ages, The Domesday Quest, The Story of England, The Story of India, The Story of China, and In Search of Shakespeare. Wood's work spans a broad range of historical subjects, including English history as well as the histories of Greece, China, and India. Since 2013, he has served as a Professor of Public History at the University of Manchester. In addition to his roles in media and academia, he is affiliated with South Alabama baseball.
