Melissa Ivy Rauch is an American actress born on June 23, 1980. She is best known for her role as Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, a part she played from 2009 to 2019. Her performance on the show earned her a nomination for the Critics Choice Television Award in 2013. Rauch also starred in and executive produced three seasons of the revival of Night Court. Besides her role on The Big Bang Theory, she has appeared as Tina in the American remake of Kath & Kim and as Summer in the HBO series True Blood. Rauch's career includes co-writing and co-producing the 2015 sports comedy-drama film The Bronze, in addition to starring in it. She provided the voice of Harley Quinn in the 2017 animated film Batman and Harley Quinn. Her supporting roles extend to films such as I Love You, Man, Ice Age: Collision Course, Flock of Dudes, and Ode to Joy. In 2019, she played the role of Meryl Streep's daughter in Steven Soderbergh's film The Laundromat.
