Meagan Good: podcast appearances and interviews

Meagan Monique Good Majors is an African American actress and model born on August 8, 1981. She first gained critical attention for her role in the film Eve's Bayou in 1997. Subsequently, she starred as Nina in the Nickelodeon sitcom Cousin Skeeter from 1998 to 2001. Good's career continued to rise with prominent performances in films such as Deliver Us from Eva (2003), Roll Bounce (2005), and Stomp the Yard (2007). Her work in ensemble casts includes the 2012 film Think Like a Man. In 2013, she portrayed Joanna Locasto, the lead character on the NBC drama series Deception. She also appeared in the comedy film Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Good has taken supporting roles in several horror and thriller films including One Missed Call (2008), Saw V (2008), and The Unborn (2009). She is known within the superhero genre for playing the superhero version of Darla Dudley in the DC Extended Universe films Shazam! (2019) and Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023). Recently, Good co-produced and starred in Tyler Perry's Divorce in the Black (2024) for Amazon Prime Video.
