Matthew Lillard: podcast appearances and interviews

Matthew Lyn Lillard, born on January 24, 1970, is an American actor, director, and producer. His early film appearances include the black comedy Serial Mom and the crime thriller Hackers. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Stu Macher in the slasher film Scream, which established him as a prominent figure in the horror genre. Lillard subsequently starred in various films including SLC Punk!, She's All That, Thirteen Ghosts, and Without a Paddle. He is also known for his portrayal of Norville Shaggy Rogers in the live-action Scooby-Doo movies and became the official voice of the character in the animated series after Casey Kasem's retirement. In the 2010s, Lillard shifted towards more dramatic roles, appearing in films such as The Descendants, Trouble with the Curve, and Match. He also featured in Twin Peaks: The Return and starred in the NBC series Good Girls. In 2023, Lillard played William Afton in the horror film Five Nights at Freddy's, which received renewed attention and recognition from The Hollywood Reporter.
