Matthew David Lewis, born on 27 June 1989, is an English presenter affiliated with History Hit. He first gained recognition as an actor, notably for his portrayal of Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter film series. Born in Leeds, Lewis began his acting career with a debut in the film Some Kind of Life in 1995 and appeared in television dramas for ITV and BBC One before joining the Harry Potter series in 2001. His role as Neville Longbottom lasted for ten years, concluding with the final installment in 2011, and earned him critical praise.
