Matt Robinson: podcast appearances and interviews

Matt Robinson is a filmmaker, storyteller, and founder of 38109 Village. His career includes work as a writer and producer for various television productions. Robinson was involved in the development of the PBS children's program Sesame Street, where he was the first actor to portray the character of Gordon as well as providing the voice for the puppet Roosevelt Franklin. He also served as one of the show's producers before leaving in 1972. In the early 1970s, Robinson wrote and produced the films Save the Children and Amazing Grace, and authored scripts for television shows such as Sanford and Son and Eight Is Enough. Later, he joined the staff of The Cosby Show as a producer and staff writer, contributing for seven seasons despite experiencing symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Robinson's contributions to television and film span multiple genres and roles, reflecting a diverse and impactful career in storytelling. He passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 65 on August 5, 2002, from complications related to Parkinson's disease.
