Mark Wilkinson: podcast appearances and interviews

Mark Wilkinson, born on 3 October 1952, is an English illustrator renowned for his detailed surrealistic cover art for various British bands. His notable career was launched through his collaboration with the neo-prog band Marillion in the 1980s. Wilkinson also created artwork for the solo career of Marillion's lead singer Fish, as well as for bands such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Skilled in multiple techniques, he is considered to be a master of the airbrush. Wilkinson's work has received significant recognition, including the selection of the cover for the 1984 Marillion album Fugazi by Gigwise as the 29th greatest album artwork of all time in 2012. In 2015, he designed artwork for the Tya Brewery in Øvre Årdal, Norway. Currently, Wilkinson serves as a Consulting Field Solutions Architect at The Windsor Boys' School.
