Mark Patton, born on September 22, 1959, is an American interior designer and actor. He began his professional acting career in 1982 and is best known for his roles in film. His notable performances include playing Joe Qualley in the dramatic film Come Back to the Five & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, and Jesse Walsh in the 1985 horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge. The latter role has contributed to his recognition as a pioneer among male actors known as scream kings, a term used to describe male counterparts to scream queens in modern cinema.
