Mark Ormrod: podcast appearances and interviews

William Mark Ormrod was a Welsh historian specializing in the Later Middle Ages of England. Born in South Wales, he pursued his studies at King's College, London, before earning his Doctor of Philosophy degree at Worcester College, Oxford. Over the course of his academic career, he was employed at various institutions, ultimately joining the University of York where he served as Dean of the History Faculty and was the director of the Centre for Medieval Studies. Ormrod contributed extensively to his field through research and publication; his work includes nine books and more than 80 book chapters. He retired in 2017 and passed away due to cancer in 2020.
