Mark Hebscher: podcast appearances and interviews

Mark Hebscher, born January 1, 1956, is a Canadian television and radio personality and author. He has worked primarily in sports broadcasting and is recognized for co-hosting Sportsline, an evening sports program on the Global Television Network and CHCH-DT. In the 1990s, Hebscher hosted Sportscentral on CTV Sportsnet, serving as a prominent figure in Canadian sports media. His work also includes providing play-by-play coverage for the Toronto Argonauts radio broadcasts and hosting Maple Leaf Hockey on the Global Television Network. Additionally, he served as an anchor of Headline Sports and was a host of Square Off, a current affairs program on CHCH-DT, alongside Donna Skely. Beyond broadcasting, Hebscher is an author; he has written The Greatest Athlete (you've never heard of), a book about George Orton, a track-and-field athlete who became the first Canadian to medal at the Summer Olympics in 1900.
