Mark David Duplass, born on December 7, 1976, is an American filmmaker and actor known for his work as a writer, director, producer, and actor. In 1996, he and his brother Jay Duplass established Duplass Brothers Productions, through which they created numerous films including The Puffy Chair, Baghead, Cyrus, Jeff, Who Lives at Home, and The Do-Deca-Pentathlon. The brothers also developed television series such as Togetherness and Room 104. Duplass's acting credits encompass a variety of films and television shows, including Humpday, The League, Greenberg, Safety Not Guaranteed, The One I Love, The Lazarus Effect, Blue Jay, Tully, Goliath, Paddleton, Language Lessons, and Backrooms.
