Maria Hinojosa: podcast appearances and interviews

Maria de Lourdes Hinojosa Ojeda is a Mexican-American journalist known for her work on Latino issues. She is the anchor and executive producer of Latino USA, a syndicated public radio show, which she also produces through Futuro Media Group where she serves as founder, president, and CEO. Hinojosa has received recognition for her journalism, including winning a Pulitzer Prize in 2022. She has also been the executive producer of America By the Numbers with Maria Hinojosa, a PBS program that premiered as a special during the 2012 election season. In addition, she made history as the first Latina to anchor a Frontline report on PBS, with the documentary Lost in Detention exploring deportation and immigrant detention and abuse issues. Since beginning her career, Hinojosa has been recognized multiple times as one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics by Hispanic Business magazine. Her work has included reporting for major outlets such as CBS, NPR, and CNN.
