Lori Garver: podcast appearances and interviews

Lori Beth Garver, born on May 22, 1961, in Lansing, Michigan, is a former Deputy Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. She served in this role after being nominated by President Barack Obama on May 24, 2009, and was confirmed by the United States Senate on July 15, 2009. Garver held the position until September 2013, when she left to become the General Manager of the Air Line Pilots Association. Prior to her tenure as Deputy Administrator, she was actively involved in NASA from 1996 to 2001, initially as a special assistant to the NASA administrator and as a senior policy analyst for the Office of Policy and Plans. She later served as the Associate Administrator for the same office. During the 2008 presidential campaign, Garver was the lead civil space policy advisor for Barack Obama's campaign and led the agency review team for NASA during the transition period following the election.
