Lloyd Axworthy: podcast appearances and interviews

Lloyd Norman Axworthy, born on December 21, 1939, is a Canadian politician, elder statesman, and academic. He served as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Cabinet led by Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. During his political career, he was recognized for his contributions in international relations and foreign policy. After retiring from parliament, Axworthy held academic leadership roles, including serving as president and vice-chancellor of the University of Winnipeg from 2004 to 2014. He also served as chancellor of St. Paul’s University College, which is part of the University of Waterloo. Currently, he is the Chair of the World Refugee & Migration Council, where he continues to engage in issues related to global migration and refugee policies.
