Elizabeth Ann Johnson, born on May 2, 1974, is an American professional bowler who has competed on the Professional Women's Bowling Association Tour, the PBA Tour, and the PBA50 Tour. As an 11-time winner on the PWBA Tour before its suspension in 2003, she secured her first U.S. Women's Open title in 1996. Since the PWBA's reestablishment in 2015, she has added eleven more PWBA Tour titles, including five major championships, bringing her total to 25 PWBA titles. Her achievements also include three additional titles during the Tour's hiatus, which have been retroactively recognized. Johnson has been inducted into the United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame in 2015 and was elected to the PWBA Hall of Fame in 2025. She made history at the 2005 PBA Banquet Open as the first woman to defeat a man in a televised PBA Tour event. On November 18, 2017, she became the second woman to win a PBA Tour title and the first to win a non-major PBA Tour event, marking significant milestones for women in competitive bowling. Johnson also made history by becoming the first woman to win a title on the PBA50 Tour on June 25, 2026. Beyond her competitive achievements, she serves as an athlete mentor, corporate speaker, sports commentator, and pundit. She is managing director and co-founder of The Ability People and maintains sponsorship roles with brands such as Storm, Turbo Grips, High 5 gear, Master bowling products, and UCANBOWL2 Pro Shop.
