Lisa Anne Loeb, born March 11, 1968, is an American singer-songwriter, musician, author, and actress. She began her career with the release of the song 'Stay (I Missed You)' in 1994, which appeared on the soundtrack of the film Reality Bites. This song became the first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100 for an artist without a recording contract. Loeb has also achieved additional success with top-20 singles such as 'Do You Sleep?' in 1996 and 'I Do' in 1998. Her albums Tails and Firecracker, released in 1995 and 1997 respectively, received gold certification, indicating significant commercial success. Beyond her music career, Loeb has appeared in various film, television, and voiceover roles.
