Lesley Paterson: podcast appearances and interviews

Lesley Paterson, born on October 12, 1980, is a Scottish professional triathlete, author, screenwriter, and film producer. She has achieved notable success in the sport of triathlon, winning the XTERRA Triathlon World Championships in 2011, 2012, and 2018. Additionally, she secured victories at the World Triathlon Cross Championships in 2012 and 2018. Beyond her athletic career, Paterson has been involved in the cinematic industry, notably co-writing a screenplay based on Erich Maria Remarque's anti-war novel All Quiet on the Western Front with Ian Stokell. She acquired an option for the film rights to the book in 2006, and the adaptation was ultimately produced into a film released in 2022 by Netflix. Her work on this project earned her the BAFTA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay in 2022, which she shared with Stokell and director Edward Berger.
