Lee Anderson: podcast appearances and interviews

Lee Anderson is the Deputy Group CEO of Lebern Group. He has a background as a coal miner and has worked for the Citizens Advice Bureau. Anderson was elected as a Labour Party councillor in the Ashfield District in 2015 but was suspended by Labour in 2018. Later that year, he defected to the Conservative Party and served as a Conservative councillor in Mansfield from 2019 to 2021, concurrently serving as a Member of Parliament for Ashfield. In 2019, he was elected to Parliament as a Conservative. Anderson held the position of deputy chairman of the Conservative Party under Rishi Sunak from February 2023 until January 2024, when he resigned to vote against a government amendment regarding the Rwanda asylum plan. He was also involved in a controversy related to statements about Islamists, which led to the suspension of the Conservative whip in February 2024. Subsequently, Anderson defected to Reform UK after having the whip suspended and was elected as the party's first MP in 2024. He has since held significant roles within Reform UK, including serving as its Chief Whip beginning in July 2024 and as Chairman from 2026.
