Lauren Fleshman: podcast appearances and interviews

Lauren Fleshman, born on September 26, 1981, is an American runner, coach, and author known for her achievements in middle and long-distance track events. She was the United States 5000 meters champion in 2006 and 2010. Fleshman competed at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics in 2003, 2005, and 2011. In the 2011 event, she finished seventh in the 5000 meter final, tying the highest finish ever by an American woman in that discipline at the time. Throughout her athletic career, Fleshman participated in various distances including the 1500 meters, the mile, and the 5000 meters. After retiring from professional competition, she has contributed as a coach and author, writing the New York Times bestselling book Good for a Girl, which explores themes related to female athletes and their experiences.
