Laura Mixon Story Elvington is an American contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter recognized for her impact within the genre. She was ranked as the 40th Top Christian Artist of the 2010s by Billboard and has been the recipient of a Grammy Award along with six GMA Dove Awards. Her second studio album, Blessings, reached number one on the Top Christian Albums and Americana/Folk Albums charts, where it remained for three weeks. The album also peaked at number 30 on the Billboard 200 and received RIAA Gold certification. The title track of the album, Blessings, became her first number one hit on the Billboard Christian Songs chart. This single earned her the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song in 2012 and attained Platinum status in the United States.
