Laura Jean: podcast appearances and interviews

Laura Jean Englert is an Australian musician from Melbourne known for her classically inspired folk songs that often feature a range of orchestral instruments. She gained significant critical acclaim with her debut album, Our Swan Song, which received high rotational support from community and alternative radio stations such as Triple J. Her exposure increased when Snow Patrol, who are fans of her work, invited her to sing Martha Wainwright's part in the song Set the Fire to the Third Bar during their Australian tours in 2007. She released her second album, Eden Land, on 1 March 2008 in Australia. In August 2008, Laura Jean was invited by Deborah Conway to participate in the Broad Festival project, which toured major Australian cities and included a performance at the Sydney Opera House. The project featured artists such as Elana Stone, Liz Stringer, and Dianna Corcoran, with performances of their own and each other's songs. Her third album, A Fool Who'll, was recognized as the album of the week by Melbourne radio station 3RRR for the week of 29 August 2011.
