Keegan Michael Key: podcast appearances and interviews

Keegan-Michael Key, born March 22, 1971, is an American actor, comedian, producer, and writer. He gained prominence through his work on the sketch series Key & Peele, which he co-created and co-starred in from 2012 to 2015. The series earned him one Primetime Emmy Award from ten nominations. Prior to that, he appeared on Mad TV from 2004 to 2009, and has had roles in other television series including Friends from College, Reboot, Parks and Recreation, and Schmigadoon!. In addition to his television work, Key has had supporting roles in numerous films such as Horrible Bosses 2, Pitch Perfect 2, and Dolemite Is My Name. He has contributed voice work to films including The Lego Movie, the Hotel Transylvania franchise, Storks, The Angry Birds Movie, and others. His voice acting extends to Disney films such as Toy Story 4 and live-action remakes of The Lion King and Pinocchio. Key appeared at the White House Correspondents' Dinner as his Key & Peele character Luther in 2015. He co-produced and starred in the action-comedy film Keanu alongside Jordan Peele. His stage work includes a Broadway debut in the comic play Meteor Shower in 2017. Key has hosted television programs including The Planet's Funniest Animals and Game On! and is set to voice Toad in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie scheduled for 2026.
