Jonny Wilkinson: podcast appearances and interviews

Jonathan Peter Wilkinson, born on 25 May 1979, is an English former rugby union player who played as a fly-half. His club career includes twelve seasons in the English Premiership with Newcastle Falcons and five seasons with the French side Toulon. During his tenure at Toulon, he secured two Heineken Cups and one Top 14 championship and holds the record for the top point scorer at both clubs. Internationally, Wilkinson earned 91 caps for England and was a key member of the team that won the 2003 Rugby World Cup. He scored the winning drop goal in the final against Australia in the last minute of extra time. He also participated in the 2007 World Cup final and represented the British & Irish Lions on two tours, in 2001 to Australia and in 2005 to New Zealand, earning six caps. Wilkinson's impact on rugby has been widely recognized; he was inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in 2016. Known for his skill and composure, he played through several injuries throughout his career. Since retiring at the end of the 2013–14 season, Wilkinson has worked as a studio pundit for ITV Sport, covering major rugby events such as the Six Nations Championship and the Rugby World Cup.
