Jonathan Gold: podcast appearances and interviews

Jonathan Gold (July 28, 1960 – July 21, 2018) was an American food and music critic. He served as the chief food critic for the Los Angeles Times and contributed to LA Weekly and Gourmet. Gold was known for often selecting small, traditional immigrant restaurants for his reviews, although he covered a broad range of cuisines. In addition to his writing, he was a regular contributor on KCRW's Good Food radio program. His work received significant recognition, and in 2007 he became the first food critic to win the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism while writing for LA Weekly.
