John Rood: podcast appearances and interviews

John Charles Rood, born in 1968, is an American national security adviser and corporate executive. He previously served as the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy from January 2018 to February 2020, a role in which he contributed to U.S. defense policy. Rood has also held senior positions at major defense contractors, including serving as Senior Vice President of Lockheed Martin where he was responsible for international business. Prior to that, he was Vice President for Domestic Business Development at Lockheed Martin and held a vice president role at Raytheon Company. Currently, Rood is the Chief Executive Officer of Momentus Space, a commercial space infrastructure firm.
