About John Ratey
John Joseph Ratey is an American physician and associate clinical professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Ratey and Hallowell reunited in 2021 to publish ADHD 2.0, an updated review of the latest research and treatment strategies for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. He emphasizes that no one is truly normal and advocates for understanding mental health through current scientific insights. In December 2024, he was featured in the documentary Inactive, America's Silent Killer, which discusses the global rise of physical inactivity and its health consequences.
