Joe Walsh is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter known for his work with the rock band Eagles, as well as his solo career and collaborations with other bands. Born Joseph Woodward Fidler on November 20, 1947, he has had a career spanning over six decades, during which he also performed with the James Gang, Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, and New Zealand's Herbs. Walsh gained prominence as a session musician and a solo artist, producing numerous albums and singles such as 'Rocky Mountain Way,' 'Life's Been Good,' and 'Ordinary Average Guy.' He was involved in notable recordings, including the Eagles' album Hotel California, which features acclaimed guitar solos recognized as some of the best in rock history.
