Joseph Peter Pantoliano, born on September 12, 1951, is an American actor with a career spanning film, television, and theater in which he has played over 150 roles. He received an Emmy Award for his portrayal of the character Ralph Cifaretto in HBO's The Sopranos. His film work includes notable roles such as Francis Fratelli in The Goonies, Captain Conrad Howard in the Bad Boys film series, Cypher in the science fiction film The Matrix, and Teddy in the psychological thriller Memento.
