About Jimmy Rogers
Jimmy Rogers was an American blues musician known for his work as a singer, guitarist, and harmonica player. He gained recognition as a member of Muddy Waters's band in the early 1950s and recorded several influential blues songs, including standards such as 'That's All Right' and 'Rock This House.' Rogers also pursued a solo career, producing popular tracks like 'Chicago Bound' and 'Walking by Myself,' the latter of which marked his appearance on the R&B charts. After withdrawing from the music industry at the end of the 1950s, he returned to recording and touring in the 1970s. In addition to his musical career, Rogers later served as a head coach for Washington State.
