James Joseph Norton, born on July 19, 1968, is an American comedian, radio personality, actor, author, and podcast host. He has been involved in various entertainment mediums, including stand-up comedy and radio broadcasting. Norton gained prominence as a third mic on the radio show Opie and Anthony, which he joined in 2001, after developing his act since beginning as a stand-up comedian in 1990. His performances on The Louie Show led to an opening act opportunity with comedian Andrew Dice Clay in 1997. Norton became widely known for co-hosting morning radio shows on SiriusXM Radio such as Opie with Jim Norton and Jim Norton & Sam Roberts, along with his involvement in The Chip Chipperson Podcast.
