Jeff Tweedy: podcast appearances and interviews

Jeffrey Scot Tweedy, born on August 25, 1967, is an American musician, author, and record producer. He is best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Wilco. Tweedy began his music career in high school with the band The Plebes, which included Jay Farrar; this band later evolved into the alternative country band Uncle Tupelo. After Uncle Tupelo disbanded, Tweedy formed Wilco, which achieved critical and commercial success with albums such as Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and A Ghost Is Born. The latter album received the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album in 2005. Over the course of his career, Tweedy has released twenty studio albums, including four with Uncle Tupelo, twelve with Wilco, one with his son Spencer, and three solo studio albums. Additionally, he has collaborated on numerous projects, most notably Mermaid Avenue with Billy Bragg. Tweedy’s work spans multiple genres and includes a variety of collaborations, reflecting his significant influence in the American music scene.
