Bob Weir: podcast appearances and interviews

Robert Hall Weir was an American musician and songwriter best known as a founding member of the Grateful Dead. He played primarily rhythm guitar and performed vocals for the band, contributing to their distinctive blend of rock and roll and country music styles. Weir's career with the Grateful Dead culminated in his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 and receiving the Kennedy Center Honors in 2024 as part of the band. Following the disbandment of the Grateful Dead in 1995, he continued to perform with various groups, including the Other Ones, later known as the Dead, and formed several bands such as Kingfish, the Bob Weir Band, Bobby and the Midnites, Scaring the Children, RatDog, and Furthur. He also participated in the formation of Dead & Company in 2015, a band comprising former Dead members Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chimenti.
