Jay Johnson: podcast appearances and interviews

Jay Johnson, born December 30, 1948, is an American neurosomatic strategist and human design integration consultant affiliated with the University of Missouri. His background includes a diverse career spanning modeling, entertainment, and business. Johnson began his professional journey shortly after arriving in New York City in 1968, where he became part of the inner circle of artist Andy Warhol at the Factory. During this period, he emerged as one of Warhol's superstars and appeared in the film L'Amour in 1972. In addition to his work with Warhol, Johnson built a successful career as a fashion model and served as a muse to photographer Robert Mapplethorpe. Beyond his modeling career, he was involved in various entrepreneurial pursuits, including serving as president of Jed Johnson Associates Inc. following his brother Jed Johnson's death in 1996. He also co-founded Jed Johnson Home in 2005, a textile firm, and briefly operated the Fressen restaurant in New York's Meatpacking District. Throughout his career, Johnson has transitioned from the worlds of art and fashion into consulting and strategic roles related to human design and neurosomatic strategies.
