Jason Richards was a New Zealand racing driver known for his success in national and international motorsport competitions. Throughout his career, he won multiple championships in New Zealand before relocating to Australia to compete in the V8 Supercar Championship Series from 2000 to 2010. Richards made his debut at the 2000 Bathurst 1000 with Team Kiwi Racing, transitioning to a full-time racing role with the team in 2001.
