Jamie Raskin: podcast appearances and interviews

Jamin Ben Raskin is an American attorney, law professor, and politician who has served as the U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served in the Maryland State Senate from 2007 to 2016. His congressional district includes much of Montgomery County and a portion of Prince George's County following redistricting in 2022. Raskin is also known for his involvement in youth organizing and educational initiatives; he is the co-chair and founder of Democracy Summer, an organization that teaches high school and college students about democratic principles, political issues, and policies while mentoring fellows who support local political campaigns. Additionally, he co-chairs the Congressional Freethought Caucus and has played a prominent role in national politics, notably serving as the lead impeachment manager in the second impeachment of President Donald Trump in response to the attack on the U.S. Capitol. Before his congressional career, Raskin was a constitutional law professor at American University Washington College of Law. There, he co-founded and directed the LL.M. program on law and government, as well as the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project.
