Cohen has a notable background in athletics, having played professional basketball for nine seasons with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli Basketball Premier League and in the EuroLeague. In addition, he has represented the Israeli national team in international competitions. Cohen’s basketball career began during his college years at Davidson College, where he played for the Davidson Wildcats from 2009 to 2013. During his time there, he earned distinctions as a two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year in both his junior and senior years. He achieved top ten all-time rankings in the conference in several statistical categories, including career defensive rebounds, offensive rebounds, free throw percentage, free throws, and blocks.
