Jah Wobble: podcast appearances and interviews

John Joseph Wardle, known by his stage name Jah Wobble, is an English bass guitarist and singer born on August 11, 1958. He gained prominence as the original bass player for Public Image Ltd (PiL) during the late 1970s and early 1980s, contributing to the band’s early albums before departing after two releases. Following his time with PiL, Wobble embarked on a solo career that showcased his distinctive musical style. In 2012, he reunited with fellow PiL guitarist Keith Levene to release the albums Metal Box in Dub and Yin & Yang. Since 2013, he has been involved as a pundit on the BBC Radio 5 Live program Up All Night, specifically as a featured participant in the Sunday morning segment The Virtual Jukebox hosted by Dotun Adebayo. Wobble’s musical and personal experiences are chronicled in his autobiography, Memoirs of a Geezer, published in 2009.
