Jackman Thomas Harlow, born March 13, 1998, is an American rapper and singer who began his recording career in 2015. He released several EPs and mixtapes before signing with Don Cannon and DJ Drama's record label Generation Now, an imprint of Atlantic Records, in 2018. Harlow's breakthrough in mainstream music came with his 2020 single 'Whats Poppin', which gained popularity on TikTok and featured remixes with DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne. The song reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, received diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America, and was nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. His debut studio album, Thats What They All Say, also released in 2020, achieved double platinum certification and earned him a spot on XXL magazine's 2020 Freshman Class list. In 2021, Harlow contributed as a guest artist on Lil Nas X's Billboard Hot 100 number one single 'Industry Baby'. His subsequent albums, Come Home the Kids Miss You (2022) and Jackman (2023), both debuted within the top ten of the Billboard 200. The former included his second Billboard Hot 100 number one single, 'First Class', and in 2023, he collaborated with Jungkook on the single '3D', which peaked at number five. His single 'Lovin on Me' also became his third chart-topping song. Harlow has received several awards and honors, such as Top New Artist at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, being named Variety's 'Hitmaker of the Year', and inclusion in Forbes 30 Under 30. In 2023, he made his acting debut in the remake of the film White Men Can't Jump.
