Ilana Glazer: podcast appearances and interviews

Ilana Glazer is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, and activist born on April 12, 1987. They began their career in improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and gained prominence as the co-creator and star of the Comedy Central series Broad City (2014–2019), which was based on a web series that ran from 2009 to 2011. Glazer received critical recognition for their role in the series, earning two Critics' Choice Television Award nominations for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. In addition to television, they have written, produced, and starred in the horror film False Positive (2021) and the upcoming comedy Babes (2024). Their filmography also includes a leading role in the black comedy Rough Night (2017). As a stand-up comedian, Glazer has released two specials titled The Planet Is Burning (2020) and Human Magic (2025). They made their Broadway debut in the play Good Night, and Good Luck (2025) and have been recognized with various awards, including a Daytime Emmy Award and a Tony Award. Glazer also received a Tony as a producer for the musical A Strange Loop in 2022.
