Hugh Hamon Massie (11 April 1855 – 12 October 1938) was a cricketer who played for New South Wales and Australia. He played a significant role in the 1882 Ashes Test at The Oval, where his performance with the bat helped shape the outcome of the match. Opening the innings with Alick Bannerman, Massie scored 55 runs in 57 minutes from just sixty deliveries, including nine fours. His effort contributed to the Australian team’s narrow seven-run victory.
