About Glenn Packiam
Glenn Previn Packiam, born February 27, 1978, is a theologian, pastor, musician, and author. He serves as the Lead Pastor of Rockharbor Church in Costa Mesa, California, and is a Senior Fellow at Barna Group. Packiam is the author of eight books, including the bestsellers The Intentional Year and The Resilient Pastor. His other works include Worship and the World to Come, Blessed Broken Given, Discover the Mystery of Faith, Lucky, Secondhand Jesus, and Butterfly in Brazil. He is an ordained priest with the Anglican Church of North America and holds a Doctorate in Theology and Ministry from Durham University. Additionally, he has earned a BA in Theological and Historical Studies and a Masters in Management from Oral Roberts University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Packiam is a visiting fellow at Durham University and a regular speaker at conferences for pastors and church leaders. He has taught seminars and classes at several institutions including Durham University, Denver Seminary, Calvin College, Samford University, and Trinity School for Ministry. He has preached at chapel services at notable universities and appeared on numerous podcasts and radio shows. His contributions include articles and devotional content for outlets such as Christianity Today and Our Daily Bread. As a founding leader and songwriter for the Desperation Band, he has been featured on multiple recordings and has released three solo projects with Integrity Music. A songwriter signed with Integrity Music, he has co-written over 65 worship songs, including popular titles like Your Name and My Savior Lives. He resides in Orange County, California, with his wife Holly and their four children.
