Eric H. Cline, born on August 12, 1955, is a Canadian lawyer and former politician who has served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan. He represented the districts of Saskatoon Idylwyld, Saskatoon Mount Royal, and Saskatoon Massey Place as a member of the New Democratic Party from 1991 to 2007. During his political career, Cline held senior cabinet positions in the governments of Roy Romanow and Lorne Calvert, with responsibilities that included health, labour, finance, justice, and industry and resources. He was appointed to Cabinet in November 1995 and continued to serve until May 2007, announcing his decision not to seek re-election in December 2006. Following his departure from elected office, Cline focused on his professional pursuits, notably practicing law. As an author, he authored the book
