Kenneth Eric Church, born on May 3, 1977, is an American singer-songwriter and minority owner of the Charlotte Hornets. Since commencing his recording career in 2005, he has released seven studio albums through Capitol Nashville. His debut album, Sinners Like Me, released in 2006, produced three singles that charted on Billboard country charts, including the top 20 hits How 'Bout You, Two Pink Lines, and Guys Like Me. His second album, Carolina, released in 2009, yielded three singles, including the top 10 hits Love Your Love the Most and Hell on the Heart, as well as Smoke a Little Smoke. Church's third album, Chief, released in 2011, was his first to reach No. 1 and featured two No. 1 singles, Drink in My Hand and Springsteen, along with hits such as Homeboy, Creepin', and Like Jesus Does. He continued to achieve chart success with subsequent albums, including The Outsiders in 2014, which produced multiple singles and reached number one with Talladega and Give Me Back My Hometown, and Mr. Misunderstood in 2015, which produced two chart-topping singles, Record Year and Round Here Buzz. In 2018, Church released Desperate Man, spearheading a new era of his music. Additionally, in 2021, he released the triple album set Heart & Soul.
