Dustin Michael Johnson, born on September 30, 1976, is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for South Dakota's at-large congressional district since 2019. He is a member of the Republican Party and has held various positions in public service, including South Dakota Public Utilities Commissioner from 2005 to 2011. Following this role, he was appointed chief of staff to Governor Dennis Daugaard, a position he held until 2014. Between his state political career and his service in Congress, Johnson was the vice-president of Vantage Point Solutions in Mitchell, South Dakota.

Johnson is recognized as a moderate Republican and a member of the centrist Problem Solvers Caucus. His legislative actions reflect a willingness to cross traditional party lines; he has voted to revoke Donald Trump's declaration of a national emergency at the southern border, supported keeping Liz Cheney as the Republican Conference Chair, and joined Democrats in voting to establish a commission to investigate the events of January 6, 2021. In 2026, Johnson ran for Governor of South Dakota, but he placed third in the Republican primary and did not advance to the runoff.
