Dan Allender: podcast appearances and interviews

Dan B. Allender is an American Christian therapist, author, and professor specializing in sexual abuse and trauma recovery, as well as topics related to story, marriage and family, and the Christian Sabbath. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Michigan State University. Allender has taught at Grace Theological Seminary, Colorado Christian University, and The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, where he is currently a professor. He was one of the founders and served as president of The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology from 2002 to 2009, and continues to serve as a faculty member. In addition to his academic roles, Allender practices as a therapist in private practice. His work emphasizes recovery from trauma through storytelling and addresses the impact of abuse on relationships, marriage, family, and Christian spiritual practices. He is also an author of several books, including To Be Told: Know Your Story, Shape Your Future, The Healing Path, The Wounded Heart, Bold Love, Intimate Allies, and God Loves Sex.
